Continuously operating since 1878 and based in the city of Neustadt since 1950, Felo has distinguished itself through continuous innovation. Holding over 260 patents for their designs, and manufacturing over 2,000 different tools, Felo is most well-known for its Ergonic handle. One of the first multi-component handles, the Ergonic design combines two materials of differing softness with injected flexible gel. This results in a handle that adapts to the pressure of the user's hand, allowing maximum torque transmission and less strain on hands and joints. Other innovations include the first Titanium-Nitride coating on bits for greater wear resistance, the first interchangeable blade screwdriver for electricians, as well as the unique K-handle bit driver.
