This tool is a balance between luxury and functionality.
This is the type of item a technician buys themselves after reaching a certain point in their career or studies. Like buying a gift for yourself after finishing your steering and suspension class.
For those who don't know, the bean and handle of this ratchet is more dense than my demolition pry bar; the pictures will not show the full picture. This thing is stout will zero play in the handle. I own (and love) two Snap-On ratchets I the same class, and this tool is no replacement for Snap-On but it has its place. It's a treasure-tool.
Bottom line; if you do not own a Snap-On yet, don't buy this. If you already on a Snap-On, buy this as a treat to yourself.

I work in auto repair and own just about every brand of ratchet you can think of. If this isn't the best 1/2‚" drive ratchet I've held in my hands, it's certainly in the running! The only missing feature is a flex head, but honestly, some times it's nice to have a straight ratchet and the selling feature is being able to lock it in ANY length between 16 and 24 inches. It takes the place of at least two or three ratchets and a breaker bar. And it does it with an awesome comfort grip handle, finish, and smooth and precise gear mechanism. Just an awesome ratchet that I can't say enough about. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed!

This is my go-to wrench from now on. It's a bit heavy (surprisingly) but the solidness is impressive. No longer need to have both breaker bar and regular wrench... this one serves perfectly now. Quality is top notch!

This is an excellent ratchet. Hazet really improved on the 916LG. It's well-built and solved the one main issue with the 916LG - namely how the handle could spin while in use. The higher torque spec is also nice but probably is overkill. 90 tooth mechanism is smooth. Only real downside is that ti's bulkier and heavier compared to the 916LG.
