    Knipex 10 rubber pliers

    These pliers are well build but the principle is flawed. They do not grip smooth chrome surfaces any tighter than my hand. So they just slip. Every other Knipex tool I have is awesome

    I am a locksmith and sometimes you run into cross threaded mortise cylinders. They have to come out and if your not replacing it it has to look nice when they go back in. Delivers enough force without destroying the object.

    Knipex plastic jaws

    These soft jaw pliers were purchased for the protecting items with highly polished or chrome finishes. They work great, have a high capacity jaw and protect the finishes. It is much more convenient to use than placing a rag or cloth over the item.

    Bought them to safely tighten up a bathroom chrome fixture and they work great without damaging the finish.

    I had been eyeing this tool for a long time and finally made the leap. I'm a professional suspension technician. I had really hoped that this would take the place of a strap wrench. Strap wrenches I today get 6 to 9 months out of before they snap. The siphon pliers didn't come with the soft jaws pictured. The jaws received had a ribbed blue section on the pad with a lower durometer. I was disappointed that the pads were held in by a phillips screw over a hex. I'm also not sure what the can really be used on with the soft jaws. I have the hand grip strength to remove most air cans. The tool could not remove any can I attempted over the course of daily use one week long. With the added leverage of a tool I find that very disappointing. While I own and am impressed with many other Knipex products this was the first time the brand has not come to the task with high marks.

    Excellent pliers for delicate hard to move things

    I use these pliers in my job as a camera assistant to help loosen various knobs and fittings on cameras. They work on a wide range of diameters and finishes, and thanks to the soft jaws they won’t damage delicate aluminum or anodized finishes. I like these so much I bought a second pair for home!
