Knipex 10" Raptor Pliers - 8741250 - KC Tool

Description

The KNIPEX Raptor Pliers combines the convenience of the comfortable push-button adjustment on the workpiece and the function of an all-purpose tightening tool. Jaw gripping with zero backlash prevents slipping on the bolt head or rounding edges. Even rusty or thick-coated bolted connections, which usually cannot be gripped by a conventional spanner, can be managed by the exceptionally powerful gripping jaws of this tool.

For inch and metric nuts and screws with widths across flats from 3/8" - 1 1/4"; self-locking in the range from 11/16" on; no slipping on the workpiece

Zero-backlash gripping of inch or metric hexagonal head screws; no rounding of screw heads

Reliable and tight gripping of rounded, rusty or overly painted nuts and screws; ideal for work on vehicle brake systems

Quick tightening of nuts and bolts using ratchet action

Adjustment at the touch of a button directly on the workpiece, one handed operation

Fine adjustment for optimum adaptation to different size workpieces and a comfortable handle width

Box-joint design: high stability because of double guide

Secure catching of the hinge bolt: no unintentional shifting

Favorable lever action: optimum transmission of force

Guard prevents operators' fingers from being pinched

Replaces a set of wrenches; ideal for tightening locknuts

Chrome vanadium electric steel; forged, oil-hardened

Great Knipex quality as usual.

These seem like they would come in super handy and I didn't have any tools like these so I added them to my Knipex collection. 4 instead of 5 stars because I had to dress the faces of the jaws to remove some burrs.

Raptor 10‚"

Really good quality and I use it instead of a second wrench

Disappointing build quality

The two pieces fit together very loosely and have a lot of side to side wobble. Very different from my other Knipex products which have nice smooth action and don't feel so loose.

Instant use

The very morning I took the raptors to work I had use for them. Great grip and quick use. Great tool.

Great for stubborn fasteners.

Great wrench for removing stubborn bolts and nuts with secure grip without slipping.

Raptors

Hope there as useful as the rest of the Kinipex pliers

10" RAPTOR PLIERS

Great pliers!

Knipex raptors

Gotta say, these are a different class of tool pliers. Just learned of these recently and I love them. They have not let me down.

10" raptor plier

German made raptor pliers are well made and extremely comfortable in the hand, very useful tool.. would highly recommend it..

Raptor Pliers

Dubious of gimmicky items, but took a chance based on prior experience with Knipex. Am very well-pleased with function and quality of tool. Works exceptionally well with difficult or damaged fasteners.

Great product!!!

Love these pliers. They hold on and don't let go!

First time user

Watch a YouTube film on these- and had to install a new faucet -used these and did not scratch the chrome fixtures works greatttttt
