    Best Travel Pliers

    Traveled with 5" Cobras for years until I realized TSA carryon limit is 7". These give you another half inch open jaw width [1.5" vs 1" for Cobra 5"] and breeze thru checkpoints. [Next size up looks a fraction over 7", so these are a safer choice]. Have used 5" for everything from pulling a nail from bike tire to fixing low-flow hotel shower head. The handles are dipped so no slipping with age. 5" are now in my underseat bike toolkit and these 6" took maiden trip with us through 3 airports last week: no issues. Outstanding quality.

    Excellent TSA-Compliant Tool

    Outstanding tool for travel: never a problem through TSA over the years Compact, but surprisingly wide 1" jaw opening: have used them for everything from extracting nail from bike tire to fixing a slow-flow hotel shower head. Handle coating is bonded so it won't slip around with time. Highest quality.

    Great Knipex Cobras

    I rate most things a 4 if I don't have any issues with them and 5 if they are just the absolute best thing ever. These are just as good as my 180 Cobra and my 150 and 180 pliers wrenches. I'm a maintenance mechanic in a food plant and we have tools supplied to us, but I wanted to bring in some of my own stuff that I know will be better (the 180's for both the pliers wrench and Cobras went to work) so I bought the smaller 150's for at home. I don't have nearly as many uses around the apartment so I don't need a large set. The 150's are much nicer for carrying around if I choose to toss them in a pocket and EDC them. No complaints at all....except maybe the price but that's quality. These are ten times better than either the Irwin or Milwaukee versions that I also own (I have an addiction).

    The 6" cobras are a perfect size for light duty maintenance items around the home or car. The fit in well in confined spaces and in the hand. Between my new 6" cobras and the 10" I already had, I am set for a long time.

    Have used these since I was 16 years old recommended from my dad they are great and have saved me many times when no other tool have worked and also when you don’t have room for a lot of tools or need it done fast

    This 150mm size Cobra is very handy. I find myself using this more than other pliers. Great in the pocket.

    I picked a pair of these up to complement some 10" ones I have. I think this size is better than the smaller ones - fits in the hand a bit better but not much larger.

    The pocket sized mini-beast version of its bigger brother.I would recommend for a variety of uses due to A): its versatility of uses; B): its versatility of transport (this also unfortunately means that it can "grow legs & walk off"); & C): its Knipex quality.
