    It’s nice that this comes with everything you need to replace your ratchet head. I had somehow managed to lose one of the screws…must’ve loosened up and fell out. The only reason not giving it five stars is that the ratcheting action seems a little notchy, like a cheap dollar store ratchet. Still works, just not as smooth as the original. It’s almost like the inside is not lubricated or something. Maybe it just needs time to break in. Time will tell.

    Keep your ratchet maintained with a high quality repalcement head. This ratchet repair kit is sturdy, easy to install and high quality. The instructions are clear. Don't take shortcuts when you replace a ratchet head. In this case, you should heat the retaining screws as instructed (instead of manhandling them off). -- Buy a spare repair kit and you'll never be caught off guard when your ratchet head (inevitably) starts to jump.

    This is great no need to replace a whole tool for 70 bucks when you can just replace the damaged head. Great German engineering.

    Wera Zyklop 3/8 Repair Kit

    Kit looks complete. I purchased the ratchet on sale on this site, I was concerened about theratchet plastic parts and since the repair kit was available I thought I'd pick one up. Ratchet seems more than adequate so I don't anticipate using the kit any time soon.
