    Got replacements from Wera in mail. Upon opening a box of new 416 RAs, first one had gasket falling out of handle when received and ratcheting did not work. Second one had gasket loose but not all the way out. Ratcheting still works but gasket freely moves. This needs to get fixed ASAP! Would recommend not purchasing.

    Cold Weather Failure

    Bought two for electrical work. Working on a panel in an unheated garage at 24 F, set the 416 RA on top my 4’ ladder. When I picked it back up the gasket was missing out of the top. I placed it back in and it came out once more. It fell out multiple times during the panel installation. Thought it was just the one. Tried the second one to find the same result in the cold. Ratcheting stopped and when I set it down, the ratcheting mechanism fell out with the gasket. Went to use the first again today and and the ratcheting guts fell out as well. DO NOT BUY IF YOU TEND TO WORK IN A COLD REGION!

    This is an assume hand tool. It is in my boat box. It stays in the hand and ratchets. This one won't fall overboard.
