    Disappointed with Wear. These spanner bits are junk

    I bought a pair of these Wear spanner bits to change the scales on a few Bradford Guardian knives. E.ach bit lasted approximately 3 to 4 fasteners before snappingi off a tine. Both boys were broken in less than 15 minutes. They don't bend as easily as cheaper bits, but they break at about the same amount of force. I've been a big fan of Wera bits and drivers with their hex-bits being fantastic, but these spanner bits are either defective or much poorer quality than their other small tools. I don't recommend these spanner bits. They don't last any longer than cheap bits on Amazon. On a side note, I emailed KC about the bits breaking and they didn't respond...

    I had bought two other brands of these small spanner bits from the world's largest online retailer and they both broke the first time I used them. When will I learn? Go to kctoolco.com FIRST to get the right tool the first time! These Wera bits are in a totally different league quality-wise than the other bits I bought. When using them they laugh at torque: "Turn us harder, we aren't even breaking a sweat yet!" - - Don't waste your money on other brands, or other resellers.
