    These are an odd lot. I call them a lot because of their markings. The relief channels in the handles in the set are inconsistent, some end in an arc and others a point. In another review someone mentioned markings from Ireland. The markings in the lot I received are completely inconsistent. A few have no country of origin markings while some indicate Germany and others indicate West Germany, which has not been a country since 1990. The set has a repeat of sizes 19 and 22 and omitting 20, 25, 26, and 28. Had I not purchased these on a tool of the day deal I'd definitely be returning them. They are a decent set of spares you don't have to sweat too much of you misplaced since the "set" is again more of a mixed lot.

    The wrenches have a cool black phosphate finish similar to impact sockets. If you have ever observed the wrenches that come with German cars, these look identical to those wrenches, but without the brand name. There is no HEYCO logo on these, the only text on the wrenches are the wrench size, DIN 895 and W. Germany. I like them, and they cover a large range in a compact package. I placed them in a tool-roll and I am looking forward to using them.

    Website shows "made in Ireland?"

    Most of these show either Germany or West Germany in the casting, so I am guessing that the tooling is just that old, but perhaps were cast in Ireland? Very nice set. I also have a single end set of DIN wrenchs made by Elora that I like even more for their light weight and compactness.
