These pliers are pricey but the quality and versatility are worth it. They are small enough to easily fit in my motorcycle tool kit but are strong enough to get the job done. they adjust easily with one hand and clamp securely in place. Highly recommended.

A lot to spend yes but well made and very functional. I bought these to go in my Motorcycle tool kit so small and light were essential. They definitely get the job done, recommended.

These are great really versatile for small areas, I now need to order another set as my 4 year old loves them as well.

I purchased these little beauties around a week ago. I figured their small enough to use as an everyday carry tool. They slip into the pocket of my pants or vest perfectly. I use these pliers a lot to loosen hose connections, tighten window cleaning squeegees, tighten waterpole clamps, etc. the possibilities are really endless. These pliers are tough, small and look great. I'll be buying another pair for my motorcycle tool kit, their small enough to keep on the bike. Grab a pair, you won't be let down, I promise. Seriously some of the best pair of pliers that I have ever used in my life, I carry them in my pocket everyday. Saved me in a couple of bad situations.

Until you have these in hand it is hard to appreciate how small 5" is. Ultimately, I think a 6" model with this size head would be ideal, in my medium-size hands with my index finger on the bend in the lower handle (where it says "made in Germany") the end of the upper handle presses right into my palm swell. Ergonomically this isn't great, it is just too small and I almost always go for the larger ones I own even when this head size is ideal, just because the larger handles are so much nicer to work with. The head is a super-useful size for household repair tasks, and they occupy a tiny amount of space for a tool capable of applying as much force as this one is. I could see these being great to carry around in lieu of a multi-tool if you wanted something more robust but no heavier. What they lack in ergonomics they make up for in cute. It's like a perfect scale model of the bigger Cobras. But for what these cost, unless you have really small hands or a specialty application, I would steer you towards the larger ones, especially if you don't own larger ones already. The quality is all here but due to the diminutive size I find I use them a fraction as often as my 7" Cobras. These wound up in my electrical box, they are good for grabbing Halex connectors, pulling off metallic punchouts, etc without taking up too much space.

I use these for electrical, mostly commercial fixture installation. I last used them while installing a 4ft LED fixture over a door. The light was wired and I needed to tighten the MC cable connector circular nut inside the light housing. The catch was that the connector was in the door of a small hatch, made of thin sheet metal, and it only left about 1/2” of clearance when open. Because the connector was in the door, I couldn’t tap it tight with a flat blade screwdriver without bending the light gage metal. I was able to slip these in the small gap and easily tighten the ring nut with no problem.
