Cuts 6-32 and 8-32 screws without threading, and from either side.
Strips both stranded and solid wire 10 - 20 AWG
Locating ridges make it easy to find stripping holes.
High grade special tool steel, forged and multi stage oil-hardened.
Bolted joint for precise and smooth cutting.
Shear cutting blades offer 50% higher cutting capacity.
Induction hardened blades and screw shear.
Knurled jaws for better grip.
Wire looping groove to loop wire for attaching to screws.
Conduit reaming for removing burrs.

    Best wire strippers I have used

    The Knipex forged wire strippers work very good for stripping wires. They are sharp & should be very durable like other Knipex tools. The wide jaws are very effective for twisting or grabbing & pulling wires & the groove for bending copper wire to wrap around screws works very well. Every electrician needs a pair of these wire strippers. I was in a hurry to get them so I got the plain dipped handles otherwise I would have bought the cushioned handles. Also I think Knipex will eventually release them with their 1000v handles. Maybe I will upgrade to those when available.

    Sharp Wire Cutter, Well-fitting Stripper

    While somewhat larger than I prefer in wire strippers, the individual stripping edges have close tolerances and do a good job of stripping wire without cutting the individual strands of wire. The wire cutter is also quite sharp, and the shape of the cutting edge makes easy work of cutting large wire.
