Truly an engineering triumph. One of the most useful pliers in my tool pouch. Grips stripped/galled screw heads and makes it possible to easily remove them.

Best farming pliers out there. Beats Cee Tee's hands down. Does more stuff than Vampliers. Has a healthy spring to the handles. Plenty of leverage and grip. Baling wire's new best friend!

    Excellent Pliers addition

Often times I'm faced with tight quarters where normal pliers cannot grip the head of a bolt. These shine if you encounter recessed or difficult to reach bolts. The adjustability and clever design is fantastic. Also, I highly recommend the comfort handles- yes a bit bulky but a pleasure to use!

Another.great plier from Knipex. With a broken screw or rusted fastener this is the plier for you.

When I had to remove a broken, stripped or really rusted out fastener I would struggle with various ViceGrip pliers . But the teeth were parallel and the screw did not always move. Then I moved on to Engineer brand vice grip style which had the special length wise teeth in the jaws which was new. The teeth are also slightly cylinder shaped inside the jaws. But it was a pain to keep tightening the bolt to get it to grab tight enough. Finally I tried 4:different size Vampliers designed in Japan which had the same length wise teeth and cylinder shaped teeth designed to grasp stripped screws etc. They are for smaller hands and it is hard to get tremendous leverage on them. These Knipex are the perfect solution. They are for medium to larger hands. As long as some part of the Broken or rusted fastener is sticking out these can grab it. They can grab it from both front and side positions. They can also grab much larger fasteners. Knipex is known for really sharp teeth and hardened steel. With the adjustable pivot hinge you can open these wider than the above pliers, They generate tremendous force and holding power without any flex in the handles. You may not think you need them but you will be glad you do when the next fastener refuses to cooperate, Get them now.
