    less slop than irwins, but a little sloppy with the finish coating. come to think of it not really sure why they are coated with rhino liner or whatever the textured finish is.

    These pliers remind me of how vise grips used to be made in the past. The teeth are hardened well and let you get a tight grip without having to bear down too hard and mar up the entire piece of steel or the bolt your holding. Great pliers for everyday use.
