No such thing as too many bits

    Posted on Apr 7th 2022

Did I need these bits? Nope, already had at least one in each of these sizes. But they're Wera and they're gold, so it was a no-brainer. Made these my daily set and gifted another set to my old man. Win-win!

    perfect size

These are the perfect size to use with a power screw driver for most tasks. I work on Mercedes vehicles and the Wera HF torx profiles fit the fasteners very well.

Horrible!?!, they do not fit deep enough to apply torque

The regular torx somewhat hold bolts naturally, new or old bolts of all sizes and brands. This entire holding function set I have fits in about 1/4 the depth of normal torx bits and strips fasteners when torquing to spec. I have never had a single issue with other brands

Perfect for a little extra reach

When hanging off the side of a building trying to drive GRK RSS screws, few things have helped make my life easier. The ones that do are these holding function drivers, which can grip on to the screw so well I can drive at any angle, and they dont fall off even pointing straight down. Bear in mind, they do not last quite as long as the impaktor bits, but you will get through a job no problems.

    It GRIPS!

    Posted on Oct 23rd 2017

Once I got these in the mail I tried them on a car I was working and tested it out on a loose screw. Didn't pick up (not magnetized) the screw but when I put the appropriate torx screw on, it stayed on even while inverted. Although you can just magnetize your old bit and there you go. Still love these though...
