KC Tool Competes In Office Chair Games

Recently KC Tool had the chance to participate in FosterAdopt Connect’s Office Chair Games. Yes, you read that right, olympic games in office chairs. This was a team-building competitive event that gave us the chance to test our speed and agility on comfortable chairs. We played in events such as chair rowing, churling and office chair dodgeball. All these fun and intense games also gave us a chance to support a great organization.

FosterAdopt Connect is a non-profit organization that helps support foster children and helps them find loving and nurturing homes. Every kid deserves a childhood free of abuse and neglect within a family that offers love, stability, safety. Their own mission statement is “FosterAdopt Connect’s mission is to provide foster and adoptive children a stable, loving and nurturing family environment by support and advocacy for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them.” They provide services such as clinical services, food pantries, clothing closets, support groups, behavioral interventionist and the list goes on. Trust us, rolling around in office chairs and competing in games is even more of a blast than it sounds. While participating in the events, the KCT Crew was able to win the Churling (chair curling) event and take home a medal! It came down to a playoff in a three way tie for us to win that one. Unfortunately, we got taken out in the semi-finals in dodgeball but we had a fantastic time. We certainly plan to be back next year and this time we are going to win the whole thing!
