    Excellent

Posted by Matt W. on Oct 27th 2020

This is a really nice little set that includes pretty much all the socket sizes you would need in 1/4" drive, with no skipped sizes. The handles are really nice, comfortable and grippy. The ratchet itself has a high tooth count and feels really nice. According to the specs it should be pretty strong for a 1/4" ratchet as well. The extensions and universal joint really complete the set. The case that it comes in is way nicer than I was expecting as well, but the foam insert is removable, which makes for a nice drop in insert into a tool chest if you don't want to used the case. I wish Felo made a 3/8" set just like this!

Great to keep in the car

Nice all-around 1/4 drive set which takes advantage of the awesome "Ergonic" handles, very comfortable, keep in mind they will deform a little under high torque especially the spinner handle. Sockets are matte chrome, stamped "stahl" with serrations to spin by hand. Case is nice and seems sturdy, perfect size to go in the glovebox or under a seat.

This is a really nice German made set of sockets, the case feels strong. the ratchet is comfortable. the sockets and attachments are of nice quality. the only thing i wish Felo gave a lifetime warranty, but it does come with a 15 years.

Great socket set, perfect for wind techs

Posted by Joe Klafehn on Mar 8th 2018

I bought this set to add to my tool kit for work on wind turbines. We often need a ratchet set like this for just about every repair in a tower. The ratchet works great, holds the bits and extensions on nicely. The kit contains all the sockets I would need. I showed it to my coworkers, who compared this kit to the quality of a similar $300 stahlwille set. The hard case is nice, has a deep rim on the top that can hold bolts and small parts easily. Grippy outer case so it won't slide around. Overall, 5 stars, 10/10 would recommend.

Extreme high quality tools. I needed a quality set with close tolerances for precision work. These fit the bill nicely. Best fitting sockets I've ever used. The ergonomic handle design is comfortable and allows for maximum control and precision. Very affordable for the quality.

    Great compact set

Posted by Cory Robert Emmett on Nov 20th 2017

Beautiful fit and finish on this 1/4" set. Ratchet action is very nice, and the case is very rugged and makes it easy to toss it in the bag and go. Foam inserts hold sockets well, although they can end up loose with rough handling.

Compact 1/4 Drive Metric Socket Set

Posted by Harry on Oct 28th 2017

Very nice compact 1/4 metric socket set. Sockets are branded Stahl , have a nice satin finish to them, and have off corner engagement. Very complete range of sizes too.The only tool actually stamped made in Germany is the spinner handle. Quick Release Ratchet has crisp action and a comfortable soft handle. Extensions feature wobble/straight square drive end & have nice knurling on the shaft. I think the only improvement that could be made to this set would be adding a female square drive to the top of the spinner handle so, you could use a ratchet with it.

I'm a maintenance mechanic and I wanted a kit to supplement my other sockets and this does it. I am very impressed with the quality of this and for the price you cant go wrong also since Craftsman is now mostly made in China and my 1/4 ratchet broke I wanted to try something else I will be buying more tools from KC tools

    Felo Quality

I'm not going to leave less than 5 stars. This socket set has worked well for me since getting it. The case is well organized and sturdy, and the contents are well built. - - My sole source of misgivings simply comes from age. I'm used to old, USA-made ratchets that make a great deal of noise as you use them. The Felo 1/4" ratchet is extremely quiet, and the ratchet mechanism almost feels like it's made of plastic as you turn the socket. - - But in use, I can apply as much power as I need, and it hasn't failed yet. So I see no reason not to rate these highly. -
