Stahlwille torque products are subject to a separate warranty that has guidelines and regulations on repair labs that have been authorized by Stahlwille to perform service and calibration. The warranty for both torque and non-torque products is void if the tool is tampered with, abused, or used in a manner that is not intended by the manufacturer (i.e. using chrome sockets on an impact gun).

    Straight and tight fitting

    This extensionfits all my 3/8" sockets securely, including Wera, SK, Heyco, Gedore, and Proto. The ball detent hold the socket with almost no slop. The shaft is stroight, and the tool is well finished as you'd expect from a Shahlwille tool. I recommend this for anybody needing a long and secure extension.

    The design of the locking mechanism is such that it will actually work with other brands of sockets (at least, what I have around, like SK). I've encountered other brands that don't work with different sockets, like Wera, which are also very difficult to operate. The Stahlwille operates easily.

    Loved the 1/4” so I knew I would love the 3/8” and 1/2” versions. The 1/4” used a locking hole in the female end but the 3/8” and 1/2” extensions are notched in the female end
