The ratcheting and pistol grip functionality is top tier as well with the Wera one-handed bit holder quick release. My biggest gripe after one year of daily use in a Medium cargo aircraft mechanic use is this: The handle will pop open when holding the tool and when pulling it out of the holster. The bits don’t fall out but it is scary possibly dropping small bits when working on an aircraft. And the handle will pop open at the worst times when applying lots of torque and downforce to stubborn corroded aircraft fasteners. If Wera could fix the handle retention system to be more like the new Gedore magazine handles, that would make this the best tool IMO. Could only recommend to people who don’t have to move around a lot climbing ladders and going in and out of landing gear bays.

I couldn't resist buying after seeing it for under $50 on sale. This is my first Wera tool purchase, and it won't be my last. The Kraftform handle is incredible in this pistol grip form because it's equally as comfortable when pinching the Rapidaptor's rotating grip for increased precision on small fasteners. KC Tool has incredible deals, the best selection, and excellent customer service too!

I was looking for a compact ratcheting pistol grip/t-handled screwdriver set with on-board bit storage, and viola. KC Tool came through with exactly what I needed as the tool of the day. Sometimes things just line up. Wera makes great stuff. Super comfortable handle, and an awesome overall design. I would highly recommend any of their products.

Great tool, you get the extra torque with the pistol grip, less stress on the wrist with the ratchet.

This screwdriver definitely has a techy gizmo aspect to it. Seems like a prop from a bond movie. I used it a few times to hang some signs, and to remove pentalobe screws from a laptop. It takes a bit of getting used to, as I grabbed it and, then I thought I forgot the bits, but then I remembered the bits are hidden in the handle. I feel like I am from the dark ages of screwdrivers, and this tool feels very advanced with its modern grip, ratcheting mechanism, secure bit locking mechanism and the stubby, pistol format. Great industrial design and branding (the W handle). Highly recommended.

The Wera Pistol Grip Ratcheting Screwdriver is very well made and comes with a durable belt holder. I would recommend it to any one looking for a compact ratcheting screwdriver that also has bit storage.
